Suz time for my morning after the debate rant post. I just cannot believe that a senior Senator and Vice President of the US could act so childish and rude while participating in something as important as a national debate. I hope this encourages people to take another look at the Dem ticket after witnessing Bidens rude/arrogant behavior. I seriously question his ability to engage in any type of high level discussions with world leaders tbh.

GG, finally got around to fixing the alignment issues in Firefox 4.0+ today. Now the portal actually looks the way it is supposed to in FF!

Actually, I take that back. This will ruin the siege community as there will be one less player, as this discourages certain people from playing.

Holy shit....A friend of mine is learning about certain...exploits...in a computer system. After he learns more, I'll see if he has any suggestions on how to prevent crap like this.

Also, luckily I put a limit on how much elasticity our cloud servers have...if I hadn't the DDOS would have made Tempest/Impulse expand their resources to extraordinarily high levels. I could have seen a bill for $10,000 this month >_>

Well, it looks like their hunch was right, I deleted our GameTracker account and the servers appear to be fine again...at least it buys me some time to figure out how to better protect us against sophisticated attacks like this.

Thanks for the link. Tempest and Impulse are definitely under attack as well. A wireshark recording doesn't seem to suggest it is a DDOS attack, but I'll keep it in the back of my head as I work on my own remedy. If it is actually a DDOS attack, this is a serious threat to what's left of the JKA community.

Rmney might as well have just talked. Obama just stood there making the occasional comment. Realistically he look tired more than anything else. Looked like Obama had a tought day.

I'm going to come off as condescending here, but honestly try biking. I know its not going to work everywhere you go, but start out using it on any small mini trips and see how it goes. I live in a suburb of one of the least condensed major cities in the world (Vancouver) and still manage to turn a 20 minute car ride into a 30 minute bike ride on the way too work everyday. No insurance, no gas, cheaper repairs, generally less stressfull, healthy, better for our enviroment, the benefits are numerous.

Magic... not everyone's tuition is going to be lower since he was talking about it on average. Also, speak for yourself on tax breaks. Last year the government paid me. I didn't need it but I'll take it. I have my own complaints about that. I shouldn't have gotten a tax break. The smirk is entirely your own perception I noticed nothing wrong with the behavior of either candidate which just tells me you already had a negative stereotype of Obama in your head and found what you were looking for.
