Guard, there really needs to be something done about this.

Every single day noobs are turkeying the pub video game server....just now, I went to check things out and out of almost 20 peeps on the server about 10 were afk. :/

I wish I could remember the JA+ command for this, but there is a cvar....I'd set it to like 20 secs...I mean, if dude's gonna be afk for an entire spawn cycle, dude should probably join spec anyway.

I think there should be a timeout but a bit more than 20 secs please, it's not like we're struggling to fit dudes in the server.

1 or 2 mins sounds better. what if i have to answer a quick phone call? one minute isn't going to hurt much.

I vote for 3 minutes, but literally anything is better than the current setting I think (which appears to be nothing?).

Also still waiting on rectification of the MOTD time. Needs to be set at like 2 seconds since it displays the "1 second left" for 2 or 3 seconds in itself. Retarded piece of crap. It's annoying.

If you have to answer the phone, you should probably go spec anyways.

It's about team balance....say two dudes on the same team 7v7 go get a drink at the same time for 3 minutes.

Chances are, when they come back the round will be nearly over and the map destroyed.

Not really fair to anyone on the server.

I'm not talking about the cvar that kicks...btw....there's one that just forces spec.

MOTD shouldn't exist. Put that shit on the loading screen, MOTD makes me rage when I try to quicksnipe people out of the greenshield.

Also amusing: I vid rs for 1 minute to fix my FPS, and it forcespecs me. I lag for 10 seconds, and it forcespecs me.

Then I afk for 5 minutes and I'm still standing there
