Hey amazingly the seige community is actually growing. I play usually on weekends but ill play on wekdays too. I noticed back in december usually i was the only one on on weekdays from round 6-7... However im starting to notice more like 4-5 ppl on. This past weekend i was in a match that was probably one of the funnest in a while. It was 8 v 8 tms and growing as more connected. Now what is lagg code again. I used it there but forgot it. Cause this past weekend it 9 v 8 tms so i figure i need that code. Anyway i noticed some of my ctf pals are becoming seigers. Usually under ailases. But anyhow i just wanted to see how many got on over christmas break. That otta be fun. So everyobe be on round then. I cld do pug any time on christmas break whether it be weekdays or weekends. I know that every one has conflicting pug times so... I figure thsi summer will be fun both on pug and tempest.

Hey some1 shld start clan based on SPQR... and im guessing you dont know what that is so here...

A) It is the first week of December.

B) I've been playing for roughly the past two to three weeks. (Whenever it was that we were supposed to have a PUG.)

C) cg_smoothclients?

D) Most of us have taken World History and read Bill Shakespeare.

There was a guild on one of the Galaxies servers I played on called "SPQR."

They were pretty awful.

As long as they aren't absolutely horrendous, get your pals to come pug. We could yews more players. They would probably have to spec for several pugs before getting a shot at being picked, but it would help keep the pug community more active. Also tell your friends to get xfire.

Bill is short for William, as in William Shakespeare.
Or my favorite Bill:

@Caesar,
Before duo reads this topic and demeans you somehow.. duo is an old sieger, he can be kinda grumpy sometimes but he's a pretty cool dude too. He's really good at siege, and you can probably learn a lot by watching him play (if he ever gets on.)

Also, rank on the server tracker doesn't really mean a whole lot.. largely because of aliases used, like, if you type in "Magyk" on the server tracker it comes back with 20 names for me - so it isn't entirely accurate. Plus average score is higher on Impulse than on Tempest (at least mine is) due to lack on interest for pug players on Tempest. (ie: I never try as hard playing on Tempst as I do on Impulse)

Hmmmm, come to think of it....

If people really did get their surnames based on occupation, then I wonder what Shakespeare's family were into? :) :/

Anyway, 1v1 doesn't really mean anything, C ....not as far as a team-based game goes.

As for the trackers, it's not so much the aliases that makes the stats worthless, but the fact that dudes can spec and get like 100 points/min...or join empty servers and just run through the maps like nuts with nothing but bots defending.
