How to Deal with Veader, and Lesson for You All
Posted: Wed Jul 01, 2009 4:59 amI was on the server just now, and decided to take a new approach that I'm sure NO ONE has tried with veader, and that is to humor him, and be nice to him.
I started off by asking if I could be his friend. He said ok, and I proceeded to agree with him next time he said he was the best. Sadly the screenshots don't show much, but he was actually friendly for the whole round.
Urukhai and LORD caught on to my ploy quickly and joined in early on as well.
Notice how much more tolerable veader is when you humor him, instead of verbally snowtroopering him head on as has been historically set as a precedent in the siege community. He wasn't even speeder killing this round either, at one point he was like "Alright lets do this guardian!" and he actually did the gate objective.
So guys, lesson learned, being nice goes a long way. Maybe if you applied this to your interactions with other siegers you would see just as dramatic results!
