Obviously, of course. To compliment the brains spilling out of his helmet.

If you look up above at the Kyle Katarn texture, it's got both sides to his head. In other words, if I wanted to put a scar on his left cheek or something, I could do it.
Now look at the Storm Trooper one: It's only got one half of everything, so when I retexture it it shows up looking doubled. I don't texture things in games that often, and haven't run into this problem before and have no idea how to get around it (if you can.)

So I ask you smart people: Is there anyway to get rid of that mirror imaging, and make it so I have two individual sides to a stormie helmet?

Not that I'm aware of, soz.

In a similar vein, I should probably start on pair 3 for my surv/zomb mod. My cathar pair is done, I'll make an exception of only using my story chars with Link so I can yews Dark Link, my dragon pair can be worked on...that leaves...3 more to be made/modified. 8-)

Firstly, let me say there is no ETA on these skins still. If I were to wager an outrageous guess, I would say around Christmas this year I could have six of them finished and playable, for each zombie class.

The reason I'm posting is this, is because I stumbled upon an epic picture to model off of.

If you could make something like that, that would be awesome.

Oh, i know I can texture it. I'm just not sure of the limitations of the JKA engine itself. See like 5 posts up for details.

If I could figure out how to make opposite sides of the trooper look different, then we'd really be rolling. Sadly, I don't have that good a knowledge of how textures, models, scripting, etc works. I can make the textures. That's about it. As soon as they're out of photoshop, I have very limited knowledge about how they work in game.

I know this is a Jk2 model, but same game engine so w/e:

This guy (Auron from FFX) has two completely different sides to him, and his two textured halves are NOT perfect 1:1 mirrors of each other. I need to know how to work around that to make these truly amazing.
