I'll try to get a working version up tomorrow. A few more things I want to tweak before the first release.

Tried packaging a .pk3 with textures/hoth/ and no dice.. tried putting zzz_ in front of the file name, and still nothing.

And replacing base files directly would work?
One could extract original textures from hoth for bkup and replace for yours?
Don't know how it would work otherwise....

Yeah, that's how I've been doing it.

I'll post up a folder of the textures and a tutorial of how to replace them.. this isn't a "final" release anyways.

ok,

I wanna have my 2 cents AU having read through the last 4 pages.

1. what does the writing say on the original crates.
2. It looks strangely like a hoth version of the place I live, as everything is covered in soot from
the steel-works, daily. I was going to say its soviet Hoth, but thats racist.
3. Archi, I have done programming, and would love a chance to do some Java or JPLus or HTML, to keep my skills fresh.

4. MOST IMPORTANTLY, WILL WE HAVE NEW ISSUES OR VERSION ISSUES ???

any time change is introduced, there is a new issue.
I write that in caps as the standard hoth works fine, and even newbs can play it straight up.

Will this map go on impulse or tempest ??

Magyk, can't the map be uploaded to a server so changes are global and there's no download needed? It's just a change of textures, after all.
