I write the date like that too. I was told by a teacher once that MM-DD-YY is the way Europeans do it. It just makes more sense to me that you'd read it as May 15th IMO.

Apparently, only the US and Belize have Month/Day/Year still.

Also, to at least be somewhat on topic... Looking forward to this and not looking forward to banning myself from it for a month so it doesn't get in the way of study.

I've been participating in the Diablo 3 beta for sometime now and I like what I see :)
GUARD!AN

–noun
1. guarding; protecting: a guardian deity.
2. a violent, tropical, cyclonic storm of the western North Atlantic, having wind
speeds of or in excess of 72 mph (32 m/sec).
3. (in Gnosticism) one of a class of powers or beings conceived as emanating
from the Supreme Being and performing various functions in the operations of
the universe.
4. a terrifying dream in which the dreamer experiences feelings of helplessness,
extreme anxiety, sorrow, etc.
5. The sensation and muscular spasm caused by an electric current passing
through the body or a body part.

Meh, I dunno. I read those dates as if they were written long-hand and saying "The sixteenth of March, 2012" sounds a lot more unnatural than "March 16th, 2012." to me. *shrug*

I also like the Imperial scale, and not randomly putting "U"s in words where it doesn't belong.

I will give the rest of the world judgement though.. there should definitely be an E in there.
