placement, movement speed, etc.

I'm still unconvinced.

Come on, the first video shows just 47 damage from 3 mines in close proximity to each other and to me.

I'll do more random tests during pugs/messabouts on impulse if you really think this is not an issue.

It's their imagination.

Here's a test. Look straight down, drop a mine, shoot it with a pistol. You know that the distance from the mine will always been the same under that circumstance.

Slot 0 shouldn't be any different.

Slot 0 Mine: http://www.xfire.com/video/2f6dad/
Slot 1 Mine: http://www.xfire.com/video/2f6dcc/

A test before the one shown in the video didn't produce the results I was looking for, so clearly this slot 0 mine bug doesn't happen all the time, and there is an element of luck involved.

But I have noticed it happening far more frequently, recently. I find I have lower mine damage more often than not when I'm in slot 0.

That's pretty weird. I tested it for 10-20 minutes a year ago and never saw any noticeable difference. I'll take a look sometime to see what's up.

In the mean time, could you do a few more runs of dropping the mine as non-slot 0 to see if they ever leave you at 64 (assuming your undesired results were the slot 0 mines actually killed you)?

I will try it a bit more, the undesired results were indeed when the slot 0 mine killed me, but I had to reconnect back into slot 0 to get the bug back.
