Duo brought up a good idea. A tempban on consecutive kicks. I like this idea a lot, it would help prevent people from fucking shit up.
However, DJ brings up another really good point. This could be abused.

Is there also a way to stop Duo from doing that thing where he automatically makes a vote pass when he joins spec or whatever?Kerafym wrote:Duo brought up a good idea. A tempban on consecutive kicks. I like this idea a lot, it would help prevent people from fucking shit up.

2 options. 1, let specs vote, 2, make votes go down if someone who voted goes spec/dicos.

He also has some other way of making votes pass even when there isn't a majority =/Kerafym wrote:2 options. 1, let specs vote, 2, make votes go down if someone who voted goes spec/dicos.

He makes the majority by going spec. His vote still counts, but he's not being counted towards the number of people.GUARD!AN wrote:He also has some other way of making votes pass even when there isn't a majority =/Kerafym wrote:2 options. 1, let specs vote, 2, make votes go down if someone who voted goes spec/dicos.
Also, Archi, doing both wouldn't make sense. Unless you mean "Make their vote go down when they disco, but let spectators votes count."

Don't take away my votehax you negroes
Re: Tempban on Kick
I honestly see the abuse of this being a bigger problem than actual noobs joining. I haven't had a noob join a live game since like lick server was around. I have, however, been blatantly admin abused multiple times since then. Why would I want to give a POWER to EVERYBODY to FREELY ABUSE people? Doesn't make much sense to me.
I can make a tempban admin command. And maybe set up a subadmin to give to certain people who you wouldn't necessarily give admin to, but then again, I wouldn't really trust anyone with even just tempban that I wouldn't trust with a permanent ban. Then again, it's Guard's server, so it's his decision on who to trust or not. /shrug

Nah, fuck it then, no point in a tempban command when me/wufie/tensor can just ban and unban later.Kerafym wrote:I honestly see the abuse of this being a bigger problem than actual noobs joining.
