Spec Joining?

Should I make the server set specs as "dead" when they join a team, so that they don't spawn until the next reinforcement spawn time?
This will prevent "Althrooning" it.

yea, or doing the lightning fast classjoin/teamspec spam that you/me/duo like to do when we're dicking around XD

i mean, quick joining is nice for when i've just been picked and want to change classes real quick and still be alive, but it'd not be the end of the world if something like you're explaining were implemented. no biggie really.

I've noticed a lot more spec joins/recons on maxes in the past week or two, so I figured I should probably implement something like this.

how the fuck do u bind classchanges btw? in korriban or desert is not very helpful but in hoth must be the shit

/bind key siegeclass ''imperial demolitionist'' doesnt work, or w.e class ofc

I'm still newb@classbinds, so I join spec, wrong class and/or wrong team on occasion.

I think we had established this with that other euro...Bee was it? (who can be either doggie or trando) Or maybe it was kirby. whatever.

Basically, you can't bind the command itself. You have to either enter it directly into the console, or bind a key to execute a .cfg file that contains that siegeclass command.

That's an interesting idea actually, if it is easy to implement go for it.

aha i c, its like hm, u make a cfg with /siegeclass "whatever" and then u exec it ingame? thx anyways
