After A Long Delay....
So I've got siege_castle up to a BETA release now. I haven't done any of the lighting or finalized architecture yet, but it is a functional map. I'd like it if dudes could download, we can get this on impulse, and at some point run through it a few times to test it. Also note that these are currently desert classes. I might change them to hoth classes depending on how well they work out.
Objectives (they're not listed on-map, so read them here)
1. Blast through the wall. There are 3 sections that can be destroyed.
2. Destroy communications system. There are 10(?) 'consoles' (grey boxes right now) to destroy inside the building, as well as 3 'antennas' (tall grey boxes) on top that have to be destroyed.
3. Advance through the gate. In order to do this, the double gate must be destroyed.
4. Destroy the shield generator protecting entrance to the keep. It's inside the small, partially underground building.
5. Advance to the top of the keep and raise your flag. You have to hack the flagpole to do this. (not shown in pic...I was too lazy to take a second screenshot, sue me)
I've made sure to do extensive clipping so a demo can't launch someone directly to the last objective.
