Do annual sports games servers go down every time the new one comes out? My friends and I are trying to play an online franchise/dynasty, but we don't want to spend too much money. Is every sports game for every year deactivated after the next year's games come out?

Duh

I have MLB09, and I know the servers for that stayed up for a little while after MLB10 came out.. but not much longer. this a bot? It's a pretty good one, if it is.

Edit: Nevermind, didn't realize this was posted in the Mapping section of the forums.. General would have been more convincing.
