So we played about 7 games on this map tonight and I think I have a pretty good idea about what I need to change, I'll try to release the next version tomorrow if possible.

In other news I've decided to name it Eat_Shower.

Eat Shower V 1.1 released!

Link will always remain on the 1st post.

Changes

-1st objective O/D spawn points moved
-Extended 1st objective
-Narrower gap for 1st objective.
-Objectives 2/3 forced in order.
-Ledges around the sides are wider.
-5th objective has a hack time of 0.5 seconds.
-6th objective O/D spawn points moved.
-Central multi-storey building in 6th objective added.
-Defence only lifts added at 6th objective.
-Codes moved slightly.
-By request the map now has music.


Thanks for testing the map so quickly.

*Anyone who has siege_new in base should delete it.*

Please add some ambient lighting and a levelshot.

Btw, a great way to force everyone to redownload the newest edition of your map when you update is to select the entire map in gtkradiant and move it a bit. Anyone who connects to the server with an old edition will see fucked up graphics, thus ensuring that everyone downloads the new edition.

I did this every time I updated nar.

Eat Sower V 1.2

Link on 1st post as always.

Changes

-1st Objective - Teleport back up to 1st objective if you fall down accidently.
-Hack times altered slightly. (no idea which ones and by how much because I did it ages ago)
-Lighting.
-No boxes float anymore.
-Objective 3 HP increased by 50%.
-Final objective hack must be used before codes spawn.
-Codes disappear instantly when dropped (1ms).
-Hack must be used again to respawn codes.
-Spawn points moved slightly for last objective.

The map looks a lot better with lighting instead of fullbright. I'm enjoying playing it. I kind of wish there was more of a variety of cover obstacles. You can copy/paste in Radiant, so it's possible to copy over things like the tub, or the shitty infimary computer console, etc.

Btw, the best way to clip models is to yews spawnflags 2 on the model, combined with creating textures/system/clip brushes (NOT physics_clip!) around the model. Doing that will yield detailed, precise clipping for projectiles, but simple clipping for player movement.

Also can you please include version numbers in your pk3 filenames? I keep having to manually rename the pk3s I download because they all have the same name. You can render older editions of the map unplayable by dragging the entire contents of the map to the side in Radiant. This will cause fucked-up graphics for anyone using an outdated edition of the map.

Not sure about including the version name in the pk3 as it is it overwrites the old version when you put it in base and I never have to change the link this way. I might add some variety to the cover since I literally just copied boxes from Imperial Base when I started working on it again.
