I've noticed as well as had people bring to my attention the fact that the website regularly gets erratic downtime that is quite annoying.

It's not the server that this website is hosted on, I've found that it is actually the forum code that is a little unstable.

I'm going begin a massive bug hunt over the next couple of weeks so that I can hopefully make this site have more uptime.

The causes could be anything, ranging from when nub ragedeleted website code before letting the door hit him on the way out, to even one of the new features I added like the shoutbox. (We all know what the reason more likely is though )

Anyways, the forums may be closed for an hour at a time here or there as I stabilize it.

Isn't the whole point of a phpbb3 forum to be cookie-cutter and not have a lot of code to maintain?!?!

Code can get legthy and bugged for almost no reason at all (at least mine did). Part of why I slowly dropped programming was that I'd write stuff that should work, but wouldn't, even after an hour of going over only a few lines of code.

Yeah, mostly annoying....it usually only lasts maybe a couple minutes most of the time.
