I'll admit they're not nearly on par with a GOOD regular pug of 2v2 or more, but I do think that 1v1's have a lot of awesomeness, that is not often found in larger pugs. For example, I find they equalize ppl's seej skills a lot (although this is probably because the games are way simpler).
Also, probably the best thing about them is that you can actually set one up and play it before a regular pug would have teams picked.

Anyways I'm curious as to why nearly everyone I play start groaning about how they're too old and tired...well maybe thats just archi

i believe that i'm about the same age as arch, and trust me, his too old shtick is a gimmick, pure and simple! personally, i heart a 1v1.

I used to 1v1 a lot when RCB was at its greatest.

Personally, I think I'd do a bit better in a 1v1. My probs usually come when I got 2+ people to think about (reborn boss when I'm golaning walker, jan when I'm trying to demp enemy rax jorises, etc.). That being said, I don't think I've ever had a serious 1v1.

Meh, 1v1s are only useful for shutting up pub nubs imo.
