Onasi
Alpha
Mike
Durza
Xeon
Grab

.

all of those know when to sk, mine placement and what class to yews lol, u sound like we were in 2008 and they were all nubs, not to offend u or anything Mag
Onasi for example in hoth and nar can be more deadly than duo or csr, cuz hoth and nar are too well known what-to- do-maps
xeon or grass are true solid players, similar or better than u or me in those maps

btw mag, seriously, i play monday-friday and rarely see u in pugs, come play

BTW Hey scrotum, come play dude, maybe u mass pugs again!!!

I only mentioned jkb/randir/vail, etc because those were the people we had in mind when we created it. We never made calibers for onasi or whatever, because he didn't play back then.

My 2 cents:

Ranking don and tiu as c4 is like saying obama is a good president. Both are poor siegers who rely heavily on low ping and have no tactical sense whatsoever; I have yet to see any deviation from standard siege tactics established over 10 years ago. In other words, neither can think autonomously, rendering them useless unless a solid player can hand out tactics and organize a defense/offense. I would demote them to c2-if that.

I appreciate you ranking me as c5 but, I don't think enough to be c5.

The ranks lord gave have some issues, namely: almost everyone is either over ranked or under ranked. For example: Let us suppose I am a newb capt and default to your caliber system. I pick onasi second rate because, hey, he is ranked over most siegers. (I like onasi, but let us face it, he is new and as such has much growing to do. I do believe that he has the capability to be a great sieger tho.) Xeon, Magyk, or anyone ranked under him who knows the maps and ALL of their tactics and idiosyncrasies, is much better equipped to be a second pick.

Aside from my inability to understand the majority of your posts I would like to point out the lack of logic-my inner logos was dying as I read this. Onasi is a new sieger, how in the hell can he know "well known tactics." If you are referring to self kill and the like, even Elite Ranger is capable of that. So you are saying he can be more deadly because he is new and doesn't know what to do??? solid.

Xeon is a good team player; I enjoy to pug with him. Grab is awful: reference grabbing it.

According to lord:

People as good or better than me at narshadaa: don (has he ever played nar?), tiu (think he's played once), onasi (guy can frag)

People as good or better than me at hoth: blade (seriously though), onasi (as above), tiu (guy can lando), don (lol spam)

I could tear this apart all night, it's so stupid. Magyk has already said this earlier in thread, but lol@'traditional' European players being rated highly on korriban and desert just because they are euros and were good 7 years ago with wh and some good lightsaber settings.

Why are you rating people like don and blade so high on maps that they are AWFUL at, such as hoth and nar? Seriously, you've got Mike and Magyk as some of your lowest players and I would take them above morons like don and blade on hoth.

Also, rating people on 'customs', that's dumb. But, if you were to do that properly, and you had to pick a player as first pick before picking one of the custom maps at random, I'd take Magyk or Blackout.

These ratings stink of bias. I really can't take anyone serious when they automatically defend and up-vote people from ad just because they are from ad. Honestly, I think that the way people rate others in this game reflects directly on their siege knowledge. Hint: poor.

I've seen all those people there get maxed rather than sk. I've seen them yews shit mine placement that is obvious and can be avoided or blown easily. I've seen them stay firmly planted on O-tech when the other team has no mine classes.

I'm not saying they are awful, or that they don't KNOW to do those things, just that sometimes they need more reminding to do things than other players.

Since eat shower is currently the second most popular map it definitely deserves to have it's own separate rating. On a side note people shouldn't be ranked on maps they don't play which would really invalidate a calibre list anyway.
