This phenomenon always confused me. When I was just starting, there were a lot of people who had made a name for themselves by just disrupting ("snowtrooper sniping" back then), then when I left something changed. By the time I came back, everybody hated people who just disrupted, still confuses me to this day.

Back in the day, disrupting was always kinda <<< a nice one-shotter....To me, that still holds true.

Disruptwhoring doesn't require near the skill a scope shot does.

I thought everyone felt that disruption was OP because of the damage and fire rate, anyway.

I also hate disruptwhores. IMO it should be reserved for close combat.

It's just "one of those things" some people are stubborn about.

i somehow managed to disrupt a dude with 280 ping from the top of the tower in desert obj 1 middle to somewhere near the hills on the offense spawn right side

I've used gravescope for as long as I can remember. I don't think it is available anymore, there was only one site that hosted it and it was taken down a long time ago. If anyone wants it let me know.

We should revamp the downloads page and host scope files. Hunting them down across the net is annoying.

That's actually a fantastic idea, to host siege only mods and stuff. I would be weary of it getting too popular though because I don't want to become a full-fledged file host.
