yeah it's a fairly well known fact that you are 3x more likely to be a victim of knife crime if you carry one yourself, probably works similar with guns in the USA.

Because guns don't exist outside the United States or anything. . .

Here in TN....I'd guess at least 80% of adult males carry a knife.

that's because the only people who carry weapons round where I live are scumbags and lowlives, so I'd say probably about 1-2% of people in Liverpool carry a knife with them. If you pull a knife on someone, even if it's in self-defence, and they happen to have a knife too, then one of you is going to get stabbed.

Kinda sad that 80% of adult males in TN carry a knife, just as it would be a very sad day if our police had to carry guns around with them.
