How do i get my soccer coach to really see how much i improved at tryouts? Im a junipr at my highschool and we are like top in the state. I yews to just be a spectator of the game and two years ago i started working on my game. Last year i made jv and never caught my coaches eye. I scored all the good goals and play like they want me to.

First of all, don't feel like you're alone! The problem you're facing is a problem faced by many young men and women all over the world. They crave the attention and fame they feel they deserve but, as many find out, they are often relegated to being 'one of the crowd'. There are a few helpful steps you can take to begin your road to recovery. First, try becoming more apathetic towards life in general. By doing so, you'll no longer risk having your megalomania exacerbated by praise. As is often the case in competitive sports, you may even be chastised! This upsetting turn of events can be a wonderful opportunity for realistic adults to crush the spirit of those who aspire to something greater than they can ever really achieve (like yourself!). Secondly, you may also want to practice incessantly in the hope that you'll realise some greater level of sporting perfection and strike awe into your teammates. Don't! It's as simple as that! Soon, you'll find yourself falling behind your peers and on the fast track to destroying your problematically high levels of self-esteem.

Roflraptor actually brings quite a few true psychological aspects which can be a real help in your case i think. As for actual attention from your coach, you could try a more personal approach to your coach, acting like a suckup (which can cause things to go wrong) or trying having an open conversation to him about your thougts and ambitions.
