Ramones, Ramones, number 1!
After that, four way tie between Twisted Sister, Iron Maiden, King Diamond, and early Beatles.
Other ones I like are Motley Crue, Judas Preiest, Ratt, Rush, the Charlie Daniels Band.

I don't really like rap, and this conclusion is from the fact that he was previously Dee Dee Ramone.
