Expensive, shitty, overrated, and annoying....and so are the Apple products.

That is all.

Excluding the iPod I agree. (the iPod really is pretty much unparalleled.)

It's odd because the iPhone is the most popular in terms of who gets apps first, but yet even the iPhone 4 is only half as fast as some of the other android phones out there... I've seen the benchmarks and it's depressing.

Figures.

iPods are terrible for no other reason than you pretty much have to yews iTunes.

There is other software out there, but why shouldn't you just be able to drag and drop?

I hate proprietary BS.

Maybe....If you're actually dumb enough to install iTunes:

In June 2010, Apple updated its general privacy policy for the iTunes Store and iOS 4 supported devices, revealing that it could and would collect real-time location-based information on users aged 13 and over. The revised policy states that Apple has the right to share this information with 3rd parties who provide services to the customer, including advertising and promotion services. Apple also states that "it may be necessary" to provide this [real-time] information in response to "requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence or if [Apple] determines that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary or appropriate"...."Additionally, in the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale we may transfer any and all personal information we collect to the relevant third party." The revised policy does not make any distinction between warrant-based and warrantless searches, nor provide what criteria would trigger the sharing of personal real-time information with government entities, nor allow an opt-out for the location-based information. The revised policy prompted the House Bi-Partisan Privacy Caucus co-chairs to request that Apple respond to nine basic privacy questions out of concern of possible violation of the Federal Communications Act. The Caucus stated it was pleased with Apple's prompt written explanations, and stated they would continue to monitor the issue.

Also, you can only yews iTunes songs on apple devices...

You can't write them to CD....

Even though you've paid for them, you can't redownload (unlike steam games...which is just slightly under iTunes as my most hated software.) if you ever lose your HDD or computer for some reason.

AND

All I wanted to do was add some songs to my iPod, in order to do that, I had to "sync" it with my comp. When I synced it, it deleted all 7 GB of music I had.

Why cant the bastards at Apple make a simple click and drop program?

I will never, ever buy an Apple product again in my life.

because it's made by who it's made by.

and that sucks, i'm sorry.

Shit could have been updated since I last fucked with an iPod, but they would have to do something pretty amazing.....more amazing than giving me a free iPod to make me want to actually yews one.

In order to stay on topic....

I would even buy one of those MotoZooms before I bought an iPad and I REALLY hate Motorola.

In general....stay away from Apple, Motorola, and Blackberry..

I've used them all and they suck way more than normal Chinese sweat-shop shit does normally. :)
