Reverse Zombie

<+j3rk> 1 dude with mad buffs vs. X number of weak but fast zombies with sabers and pickups and preferably traps

Would be interesting, but keep in mind that it'd be a lot easier for the sole survivor to pick off zombies with guns. The whole point of regular zombies is that they're only deadly at close to MAYBE medium range depending on the class.

aight i'll start coding some stuffs for tests. it'd still be zombies vs. survs, just the sole surv will need mad buffs. and it should be tougher for the zomb0rs cuz they still have unlimited spawns and the surv only one.

I was going to bring this idea up last night on IRC YOU JERK!!!! Stealing my ideas before I can even tell you them :'(
I even thought of names: oldschool= Infection Zombies (or something similar), new one=Omega Man Zombies (for the old version of iamlegend)
I wasn't thinking so much mad buffing though but rather just giving him a nice hold up complex with turrets and shit at strategic points to hold them off. That way you get some, but you have to retreat back to get the others that got through, then when you wipe them all out you have to get back as far forward as possible to hold off the next wave. A nice sort of ebb and flow racing to keep your position but not at the expense of your life.
(also this kinda solves the whole co-op zombies thing only in reverse... so pretty awesome that it's 241!!!)

Hmm, you're right Lor... The Omega dude holing up in some kind of structure that has defenses and multiple entry points, having to defend against the Zombehs trying to get in sounds a lot more dynamic and fun. Good call.

Also I think there should still be various zombies to add group strategy and dynamics. Like:
Assa -- high damage ------- low speed ----------------- medium health -------- (brute force attacker)
chewie ---- medium damage -- low speed ------------------ high health ------------ (off tank/attacker)
Demo - medium damage -- medium speed ------------ medium health -------- (well rounded)
lando - low damage -------- high speed+force speed - low health ------------- (sneak past/annoyance)
jan -- low damage -------- low speed ----------------- high health+saberD3 - (main tank)
reborn boss -- high damage ------- medium speed ----------- almost no health ----- (sneak attacker)
(not sure how you adjust the damage for lightsabers... maybe have rage+staff/duals for the high ones and make low damage peeps single blade blue stance... then again rage makes them faster... so speed would have to be nerfed even more for them :/)
That way the zombies have to coordinate their attacks to be successful (you can't all go reborn boss to rape Omega because you'll get torn apart, and likewise you can't all be chewie or else you'll all be too slow to catch him)

Giving out different stats to the zombies just turns this back into original zombies, does it not?
I thought the point was to have one Super-Dude vs. 1Billion Shitties. Super Dude is All-Powerful-God, but only gets one life, 1Billion shitties are... shitty. But they get infinite respawns and there are a lot of them.
