Meh, I always yews "bro" was just a term for "cool person" regardless of who the person in question is. (Or in a condescending manner, "Come at me, bro!") But I almost always yews it in a sarcastic manner, because it's a dumb word.

My sis calls me that occasionally. 'Butt-dumpling' is a more favored term, though.
I call my mom bro, like, at least 30% of the time I'm talking to her.
