TF2, BlackMesa, and the Source SDK all came from the steam store -- and linking CS:S to my Steam account was part of the installation.

steam wrote:Hello Travis,

Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

In order to reset your CD Key we require a digital photo or scan of the receipt, invoice, or bill of sale for your recent purchase (we accept receipts issued within the last 90 days).

We do not accept receipts from auction sites or in cases in which the game has been resold by another individual.

Please include a digital photo or scan of your purchase receipt in .jpg format with your reply.

steam wrote:Hello Travis,

In order to investigate this matter further, we request that you reply to this message with a scan or digital photo of:

1) Your game CDs or DVD.
2) The reference card (front and back) from the game.
3) The inside and outside of the game's case.

Important: Please write your Support Incident Number on the quick reference card in the box reserved for the CD Key.

We will gladly assist you in this matter once we have verified your ownership of the requested materials.

Next they'll probably ask for my social security number.
