I have started my collection of real-life star wars guns with the C96 "Broomhandle" Mauser pistol.

If you can't tell from looking at it, it was used to make the prop for Han Solo's DL-44 for the movies.

That is all, carry on.

Nice...have you fired it yet? Is it as clumsy or random as a blaster? :)

Not yet....Currently inoperable as it was 'converted' (vandalized) into a blank-firing gun. I refuse to go out and purchase ammo that doesn't shoot bullets. With a couple hundred bucks investment, I'll be able to get a new barrel/reciever and bolt. It'll fire once that's installed.

From what I've heard/read these were extremely reliable and accurate handguns. Also, as for being clumsy, they have the same weight distribution (and therefore 'hang') as the old black powder revolvers that I find very comfortable. So it's not clumsy in the slightest.
