Hopefully it wins it and joins the ranks of the World of Warcraft episode, and the Keanu Reeves/Constantine episode.

I am not very familiar with family guy (heh) but I also hear it is the first cartoon to be nominated for an award in the comedy category since the Flintstones?

I realize that "Outstanding Comedy" is one of the bigger awards, but Family Guy has already won several Emmys including one for the voice talent of Seth MacFarlane.

He really is pretty amazing.

I've not watched South Park in a while, but it's enjoyable....it's just really random, stupid stuff to me.

Family Guy is random, to be sure, but it's also a higher level of wit, IMO.

What I like about South Park is that the jokes are usually relevant to the plot of the episode, and the whole episode/plot are a parody on something or the other (everyone here really should watch "Make Love, Not Warcraft" a parody on online video gaming). Every episode of Family Guy that I have seen, although funny, is just a little tooooo random for me. But I will probably end up catching up on it soon enough. (I did enjoy a recent episode where the dog was singing about weed haha)

The best line on Family Guy in recent episodes was from where they get Herbert(the blatant pedophile) to babysit the kids and Meg says:

Image

"No offense, but I'm a 17-year-old girl and I don't need you here."

To which Herbert responds:

Image

"Well no offense to you, Meg, but you're a 17-year-old girl and I don't need YOU here."

I ROFLed hard.

Make Love, Not Warcraft is the best episode of south park imo.
I like South Park over Family Guy just because it seems to me they make fun of real events than Family Guy (tho the weed episode was hilarious) I can't wait for the next season of South Park and for that matter It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a great show and funny as shit.

OMG It's always sunny in Philadelphia is AMAZING. I did however like Arrested Development better though. All amazing shows though.

Sadly I don't think I am caught up on Philly, the last episode I saw of that was where they put on a play, which I almost died laughing while watching.

"DAYMAN, UHHH UH, FIGHTER OF THE NIGHTMAN! UHHH UH CHAMPION OF THE SUN!"

I guess I'm more partial to Family Guy 'cause Seth MacFarlane and I are pretty close to the same age and he has a ton of spoofs about the '80....the decade I grew up...some. :)

The reason why I love family guy is because of the many 80's based jokes on music and movies etc.
also the voices are pretty well fiting to each character if u watch it with german dub its not even CLOSELY AS GREAT as in english !!!! also the reason why family guy is THAT its not just really classic and refers (dunno if tahts even the wright word now ^^) to all those real life media events like the hills, star wars, a team etc. and covers up A LOT of cliches, for example "airport '07" when peter decides to live as a redneck, one of my favorite episodes not tot mention that i LOVE all of them!

btw anyone knows why those guys are so unpredictabally releasing the epsiodes, i mean they havent released a new one for like 2 moths :/
