I find it considerably fascinating that Beltrami did the score on a war movie like this one. But in terms of the mood of the film, it seems to make sense.

Several other films made hundreds of millions of dollars, one easily making over two billion dollars, in the same year and he blames poor sales on piracy because the film won an Oscar. Hell, even Mall Cop, which cost a mere ten million dollars more than The Hurt Locker, has made over one hundred and fifty million dollars compared to Hurt Locker's forty million.
