Since we have auto restart, I would like to recommend we implement auto log clearing. Is this a thing?

What would be the goal of this?

The point of automatic server restarts is to stave off any possible memory leaks, and thereby prevent (hopefully) the occasional server crash we have been getting every couple of weeks.

It's not really needed.
