I think I put this topic before but:

My computer flashes red everytime a disruptor is fired, missile is launched and hits something, jan demps, snowtrooper fires the yellow bulb, etc. but not in other things such as when the reborn boss sabers or a det is thrown. It really hurts my eyes and it maintains the same brightness regardless if I change JKA brightness settings. I cannot find the file on base that causes it, but I have gone through all my files and when I copied the base folder and installed JKA on my laptop, the flashing was gone. The flashing has been occurring almost since I started playing siege. Can anyone help please?

Only thing I can suggest from the info you gave is make sure your video drivers are up to date.

If it still happens, maybe you can try toggling some of the graphics settings like "dynamic lighting."

Monitor issue? What kind of monitor do you yews? (LCD, CRT etc)
