Hey,
I just downloaded JKA again, and it came with Daemon Tools.
now using this installed a rootkit virus.
My AVG picked it up as such.
And I found an AVG article on the web that said as such.
So, seems like some bastard has loaded a dodjy daemon tools into the JKA download.

please be informed that the d347bus.sys file seems to belong to Daemon Tools. Please uninstall this optical drive emulator, restart the computer and re-run the Anti-Rootkit test. It should be clean this time. If it is not, please send us the most recent scan result.
If the test result is clean, you may install most recent version of Daemon Tools safely again.

I don't know why you wouldn't have just downloaded the latest version of DT, anyway.

It may have just been a false positive, AVG likes to give those.

Yeah, that occurred to me, but I wouldn't yews an old version of free software that is readily available on the internet...especially when packaged with a tool from a cracker.

...or you could just pay 10 bucks for JKA on Steam and never have to worry about any of that.
