I have the rough code working for this and have started a map, but I have a question... What happens to the Solega Survivorman if he blows himself up or otherwise dies (i.e. if he's not killed by a Zombeh)? I currently have it ending the round, but then how is the next dude chosen? Discuss. I shall implement the best idea unless I think of something first.
Good point. Because of the "reverse" nature of the gametype, we have a bit of a problem to solve here. The easiest solution would be to restart the round no matter what, but I can obviously foresee this becoming an exploit/cop-out. Also, gunners are quite likely to blow themselves up while attacking zombies at close range.
Some possibilities are:
--Zombie with least amount of times killed
--Zombie dealing most amount of damage to surv
--Some combo of the above (duh).
Given if it's early enough in the game, some of those quantities could be the same for everyone. So those wouldn't be relevant.
That being said:
--perhaps if it's early enough in the game, you could just have it restart the round.
--On the other hand, maybe if it's been longer and the surv has killed enough zombies over a given time interval, they gain a "life" if they should accidentally die. However, I can easily see how this might become an unintended part of the strategy for playing Surv.
This of course won't cover the case when it's been a while and the surv has killed no one (or not enough). But that's all I can come up with at the moment, it's going to require input and ideas from more people to come to a decent solution for this.
