I wonder if we can partner with that dude at jkhub, I mean, this site is the siege-hub basically. Couldn't hurt to get some added traffic.

Would be cool, but we'll see, I have found throughout the history of JKAsiege that most people who want to partner that are not other siege clans tend to have some other hidden agenda. Maybe if this site isn't run by a tool we can actually do something good for the entirety of the jka community.

I don't know the dude very well (Caelum) but he doesn't seem like a tool at all. I'd feel pretty comfortable vouching for him actually, fwiw. He will probably ask you to put this bar thingee up though which may or may not be a deal breaker for you.

(Again, I'm totally unaffiliated with them, just stating what I know of the network so far.)

Introducing: the JKHub Bar

The JKHub Network is a network of loosely related reborn boss Academy websites, joined together by the JKHub Bar. You can view the bar at the top of this website. A variety of clans, modders, and other websites related to the game yews it. The bar provides the latest news, as well as a link to all other websites using it. It can be customized to match the look of your site, and if you don't know how to install it, we're willing to do it for you.
Why yews it?

There are a number of very good reasons to yews the bar. These include:

Free advertisements. All websites using the bar are linked to on the bar. This means visitors to any site that uses the bar might also find your own website, leading to an increase in traffic no matter how large or small your site is.
Supporting the community. By using the bar, you are supporting websites that may otherwise not receive much traffic. Obscure mods, small clans, and so forth.
No cost in traffic. All links on the JKHub Bar open in a new tab, so visitors don't leave your site unless they actually want to.
Staying in touch. By using the bar, you will be able to easily read the latest reborn boss Academy related news, such as mod releases, security advisories, interviews, and much more.

Requirements

There are a few requirements to being added to the JKHub bar:

Your website or project must have some activity. We only enforce this guideline very loosely - if you're wondering whether your site is active enough, it probably is - but we will remove disbanded clans from the bar, for instance.
it must be related to reborn boss Knight: reborn boss Academy.
It must have some content viewable to unregistered users. Users should be able to learn basic information - such as who you are - without having to register.
The bar should be present on (almost) every page of your website.

We reserve the right to remove your site from the bar at any time. We will only do this if the above requirements are not met, or in what we consider to be extreme cases (such as mods filled with stolen content). The main reason for these requirements is to keep the bar from being filled with empty, unavailable, or irrelevant websites (such as those of disbanded clans).

Hey guys.

Sorry 'bout the delay here. I may be a week late to the party. Just kind of stumbled into this thread; figured I'd post and explain a bit about JKH.

Y'know those sites that pop up every once in a while, going "WE'RE THE NUMBER ONE JKA SITE/FORUM!!!1", only to vanish and never be heard of again within a few days? ...Yeah, a bunch of us have been working on a project like that at http://jkhub.org for months. The good news: so far, the results have been very promising, and we'll be able to open up somewhere in the coming months if all goes well. Aiming for Q2, so that's anywhere between now and June.

Some 40 people have been contributing to it so far, including prominent modders, clan leaders, and generally players who felt like helping out. Planned features include:

• Reliable mod hositng
• Tutorials on anything JKA-related
• A forum to discuss anything JKA-related
• Free webhosting for JKA-related sites (see: j3rk's site)
• Places to advertise for clans, mods, and so forth
• ...And, well, more.

For what it's worth, our current staff members are:

• The One And Only
• Drako
• MaceMadununsus
• Myself

Subject to change before we open up if necessary, obviously, but yeah.

I like to think I'm not a complete tool, but hey, I've been wrong before. My hidden agenda should be pretty obvious by now: getting JKHub popular.
Would definitely be interested in some kind of partnership; love to talk to someone about that if you guys point me in the general direction of, well, whoever I should spam about that. Only just registered; still be trying to figure out what's what on here.

I did some digging for you, and found this description of what rS is from way back when it was founded in 2009.

This website is dedicated to the players of the Star Wars reborn boss Knight: reborn boss Academy siege gametype, and is also the home of the clan rS.

Clan rS, short for "Reviving Siege" is a clan whose goal is to keep the game of siege alive and the community strong. It started as a few veteran players who pooled their resources and expertise together to keep the game that we all love going as long as possible.

Many of the admins from the siege servers Tempest and Impulse hail from this clan, as I am the owner of those servers, and am happy to assist anyone who wants to get involved.

We welcome anyone who likes this game to join our staff and join the cause. It truly is a fun game, and we hope you like our website!

*rS! isn't really so much a "clan" as we don't have ranks, clan matches, or other clanny things. rS basically has a monopoly on siege nowadays, so there isn't much of a point to doing things like that anymore. What RS is is more of a collection of siege players, both old and new, who could be considered in the "upper tier" of skilled siege players (ie: typically rS members are the only ones to play in private matches. siege culture is a little hard to describe heh.)

Aside from the rS portion of this website though, this website is the premier place to get anything you could ever need/want to learn about siege, from video tutorials to maps.

Guardian also owns the most active siege server running, Tempest* (184.173.157.63:29070) and the only private siege server in existence, Impulse Pug. (used for private matches obviously, 208.43.15.160:29070)

That's pretty much a crash course on this site/"clan"...Guardian or someone else can probably elaborate more.
