Er... this could be a whole other topic but I'll tell you what I know.

Its gone.

I'm guessing this happened sometime in September because I checked it in August and it was still up. Ej.am no longer exists, as far as I can tell, so our hosting is gone. Either they didn't put up a warning about them disappearing or I just didn't check soon enough. Which is funny because I'd actually began checking MORE often just before it disappeared.

I have offline backups of the site and forum but my copy of the forum database is probably 1 1/2 - 2 years old because I haven't messed with the cpanel since I announced the end of RCB. All random SPJ and RCB files are still in a folder on one of my computers.

What this means is I could restore how everything last looked if we had new hosting but we'd be missing numerous posts. Personally, I don't see the point of finding new hosting for it since the siege community now resides here. I had started work on changing the look of the main page while it still existed and I may finish that up for RCB or as an entirely new clan page since I can yews it again whenver a new reborn boss Knight or other suitable game is released.

I checked the forums weekly up until they went down. I remember thinking of taking a backup, but I can't tell you why I didn't. :s

If you want I can make a new forums for you and give you FTP access and whatnot at rcbattalion.jkasiege.com. Seems to have a better ring to it than the ej.am suffix anyways.

I don't intend on ever taking down these forums or stopping the payment of them.

I appreciate the offer Guard. I don't know if its worth it though. The forums weren't being used very much. I think it'd be more like a siege museum than a used forum.

I feel like its up to Sakke and the other RCBers if they'd like it. I know I was put in charge of things again just before I announced the end of RCB but I haven't kept close ties with the community since then. I don't think its my place to decide things anymore.

If they want it then tell me and I'll get you the files I have.
