altroute to 1st obj is almost around since the begining, but I am still not quite sure if i should add it or not, and if yes, then where?
I know you guys look the map with player eye, and there is nothing wrong with that, since it's a game. I usually (fuck that I always) watch my maps with the sense of build. The base itself (as you probably already have figured out) could be approached via shuttle/plane/something that can fly. So attackers have to take the altroute (oh the irony) so they go in from the channel, which is there because of some experimental gases has to go off somewhere, and that's why the obj0 shield is triggered when attackers get in the channel (because then those 4 gas effect on the vent wouldn't make any sense).
And this is the main reason I haven't added any alt routes for 1st obj, but looks like everyone wants it so I am reconsidering it again.
About altroute to database (as you guys call it the 'cc') well I'm thinking of it. The main reason I haven't added it in the first place is because of the map's special structure. You probably noticed that these are levels above each other (the 2nd obj is a bit of, but that's for a reason). So if I change something at the database it will have (probably big) effect on the level before.
Someone (not sure if sakke or lorax, maybe laser) said to change the clipping around shuttle, so it won't be annoying when jumping with reborn boss, and he suggested the right way to do it, so that will change and won't have any effect on gameplay (but probably everyone needs to download it again).
Someone suggested (maybe just because raging of not getting through) to change the position of the black computer (5th objective). Well I can do that if someone comes up with a better placement for it. At the time it is positoned this way because, D demo can throw a grenade on the hacking guy (with some practice), but also there's a boy so they can't just shoot the hacking guy after spawn. If I put it to the oposite corner (probably map's less used area) then it may become easily rushable. I know it's rush proof (hell i made it), but i had to think about let's retreat guys who would just sit in their 4th spawn point, to avoid this if you retreat after O team got to the upper level a trigger activates itself, and if a defender retreats the rush proof shield is gone, but from that point the defender still got a chance to get to obj (prefarebly a demo).
Anyway thanks for the good replies/rating I wouldn't think that you guys would love this kind of rush protection so much (and about the comments i get from you, you really like it you have to hunt down D team to go on).
About map's darkness, no I won't change that. It's night, night is dark, cahnnels are dark, and I think it's great that both team's sniper can yews this darkness (I'm talking about 1st obj mainly).
