Thanks for all the replies, interesting because it seems that when I walk around in siege much easier than in ffa or other gametypes. =)

Oh, and what EXACTLY do dpi, m_pitch, m_yaw, cl_mouseaccel do? (And what are your sens?)

Yaw is left/right turn speed. So I'm guessing pitch is up/down look speed maybe. Mouseaccel is probably just mouse sensitivity. No idea on dpi, and too lazy to google.

No, true mouse acceleration means that if you move the mouse quickly, your sens gets a bit of boost.

I didn't think JA had this built in...but maybe it does.

It's actually pretty sweet 'cause you can have a low sens for precision, but you can get your cross-hair where you need it fast.

Yeah, pitch is up/down. Yaw is left/right. (Roll is tilt from side to side). Terminology is based on aeronautics-n-stuff. They represent your 3d angle/orientation in space with the different 2d angles (since jka assumes you're straight up and down, roll isn't used I think... except maybe for tiefighters).

cl_yawspeed is how fast left/right commands increase/decrease your yaw... not sure what cl stands for... maybe something about constant something or something logic. I'm assuming m is for mouse because your questions all seem to be mouse releated :?

Only time I've heard of dpi is dots per inch for resolutions. Google tells me it can have something to do with your mouse's specs or something about the movement of the mouse.

As for my settings I yews base settings for pretty much everything... especially since when I mess with some of them my entire cfg gets corrupted and I have to start from scratch :/

Summary of this topic:

Set a high yaw speed.
Bind turnright to your key of choice.
Kata, turn, and saber the shit out of stuff.

MeR, I yews sens 5 or something very close to that. cl_command refers to a client side command. And as you said, lorax, m_ is mouse.
