Callvote Spectalk?

Should I make this voteable? Or perhaps make it so only the dead can talk? Specs crying or talking shit is irritating.

I'd also request a 3-day ban policy for anyone who joins the game to try to talk. It's not hard to see if a game is live by speccing for more than 15 seconds, you can sit the fuck down, shut the fuck up, and wait the fucking 15 seconds, pieces of shit. Sick of you ruining pugs.

I agree.

Specs don't need to talk, but dead obviously do.

3 days may be a bit extreme, though I do agree with the idea of it being ridiculously easy to tell if a game is live or not.

The only thing that might be weird is if you are unsure whether spec talk is enabled (if everyone connects to the server and starts a pug), perhaps reenable it regardless every round?

I do fully agree with adding this feature too. It is so annoying when people like MeR (no offense buddy) or that Padawan won't shut up while we are pugging, especially when their commentary adds absolutely no insight.

I suggest that you have Spec Chat as a chooseable option for the admin, and then have Dead Chat on all the time. Also, have it like in the old Kera Mod where the people talking were labeled SPEC or DEAD.

I actually think a /ignore command would be more useful instead of this.

Would there be a way to just /ignore specchat?

That way each person could toggle it as they see fit.

I suppose I could do something like that.
