Regardless, he mentioned a long time ago he intended on distancing himself from the game. I do sympathize with him, he really tried his best to make the siege community better and it just never seemed to work to his satisfaction.
I have played with him recently on Tempest, but I didn't know he left.
He was playing by k3rj on Tempest though.

For the most part it's just a noob thrashing and 8 minute rounds unless you happen to chance upon reasonably balanced teams.
I like to chat with the peoples though, and every once in a while you see a potential pugger and get to spam your "Visit us at JKAsiege.com" bind which is fun.
