in my experience, the old players who come back and are rated highly tend to be absolute shite and even the average players are way better than them. Siege is like a completely new game compared to what it was years ago

They generally learn pretty quickly, if they can stomach playing long enough to.

Most don't want to relearn it, though. There's no real nostalgic pull to play a game that's completely different from when you played it - and no reason to learn a 10 year old video game when there's plenty of more modern titles to choose from.

I don't think Duo and Jawa have driven out a single old schooler period, let alone one who would have otherwise stayed.

Like I said, it's not just any one person's fault.

It's the general feel of the community.

Jawa rages hardcore at his team most of the time and aliases to throw of teams...

Jkb is pretty cool most of the time, but he does sometimes alias or other shit like "pistol only."
(Pretty rare, granted, but he's also one of the peeps alot of people sorta look up to.)

Duo rages pretty constantly and sometimes does gay shit.

Whateva-whateva, but IMO people don't enjoy being treated like idiots constantly during the video game.
