Don't be afraid to explore the studio, Al Gore....

Postby Max Rambone on Wed Mar 02, 2011 2:40 am

Man, I've seen hybrid cars and solar panels, but this is one hell of a sales pitch(for free software):

Notepad++ is written in C++ and uses pure Win32 API and STL which ensures a higher execution speed and smaller program size. By optimizing as many routines as possible without losing user friendliness, Notepad++ is trying to reduce the world carbon dioxide emissions. When using less CPU power, the PC can throttle down and reduce power consumption, resulting in a greener environment.

I thought this was funny, but my sense of humor doesn't usually coincide with what's 'cool' nowadays...lol

See, non-American peeps....I'm not your common American slob....I don't drive an SUV AND I yews notepad++ to help protect our great Earth....praise me.

(Oh and I only eat McDonald's twice a week....but I make them yews the old non-biodegradable Styrofoam container for my BIGMAC.)

The only thing I see about it not eating up my CPU is that it can't make an already slow computer (like mine is) even slower.

what a fucking epic car

Also, Archi, that sales pitch of notepad++ reminds me of this skinny asian dude who used to yews the elevator all the time in my apartment complex to go to the second floor. He always told me his mother was begging him to put on some pounds so he was doing all he could, and not burning calories by walking up the stairs haha
