I used to be able to see the towers from my rooftop....When they went down, we had smoke over our house for a few days, and you could still smell it for weeks later. Thankfully, nobody I knew was in the towers when they fell, but I feel for anyone who may have lost freinds, relatives, and the like.

I watched an awesome program on the History Channel last night.
"102 Minutes that changed America"
You can surely find the other parts if you want....
No commentary other than the text on the screen and what was in the videos.
Pretty much a compilation of video made from various people(and news organizations) in NYC on 9/11/01.
Epic.
My mother was actually only a few blocks away from the trade center when it came under attack.
