Schrute's statement, as it stands, reads: The USA is better than Ghana, where Ghana is the equivalent of Germany. So...Schrute is saying we will beat Germany, whereas I prove just the opposite. We are not saying the same thing re re. [That is of course unless Schrute meant what I said] GG

No, Ceasar's argument hinges upon the idea that Ghana is a better team than the US - something which has clearly been proven untrue since they lost their game to us AND have yet to even win a game at the World Cup this year.

Ghana TIED Germany, which is where Schrute is getting their equivalence.

So even in Ceasar's reality, it is completely untrue that A is better than B (they are equal) and B is better than C (we are clearly better than Ghana). Ceasar is just ignoring simple truths.
