I was screwing around on tempest today under the alias "outcast", and I got banned for a reason that I don't believe to be entirely true. Keep in mind here, I was just screwing around and trying to have fun lol.
So we were on Hoth, and I was doing defense. At the hangar, I threw mines out at the spawn so that, when the people on the other team spawned, they would blow up the mines and be thrown around. A guy named "Dude" (I'm guessing archi) warned me not to do it again or I was banned, so I didn't (at least it seemed that way to me). Instead, what I did do was wait until they had all spawned and their bubbles had disappeared, so that they supposedly had a chance to kill me, and *then* I spammed them. Technically, completely different, and since they had 2 jans and a demo, they should have been able to kill me with ease. However, I still got banned. Now, I'm not crying abuse here; if anything, it's just an honest misunderstanding. I'm sorry that I pressed the buttons of whoever banned me, but I wasn't trying to be lame, I really was just screwing around. If I get unbanned, then I won't do it again.

You can still spam mines at them after they spawn, and have it throw them to their doom... which would constitute spawnlame. Especially because of the pit at the hangar.
