What'd you do
All school students (from 2nd year to 5th) gathered in goups of 3-4 in orfer to represent a nation. ie: I, along with two girls, represented Finland.
The simulation only covered the General Assembly and Security Council (otherwise, it would've taken days to finish....). We were to discuss the topic of "Decolonization" (In GA) and the troubles going around Siria (In SC).
Finland didn't had a place in SC this year, so I only had to worrry about the first topic. Thing is, while there are nations which are agains't colonization, there are as wells nations which are in fouvour of it, or it is best for their own convinience. And that's where, after mostly everyone states their position, we proceed to redact and present a kind of "preliminary project" per block (Which is : Euro block, Asian block, American block, etc.).
This is were I hated everyone. You see, you can't express YOUR own opinion, since you're representing a nation. So you have to follow whatever allignment your nations falls into. And so, having in Europa 3-4 major powers and the rest following them, I ended up virtually alone VS almost the fucking entire EU >_<
Oh well... I think I have raged/cryied too much about it now, anyway....
That's why I hate playing politician....
