Yesterday I was playing football on concrete. The ball rolled into a pool of shattered glass, I jogged over carelessly and slipped. I put my hands out to stop myself falling flat on my face, obviously. I knew what was coming, both of my hands went straight into the glass, somehow I managed to avoid anything serious on my right hand, my only injuries being a few stinging scratches, but my left hand was severely cut and I've never seen so much blood from my own body, it was horrific. It didn't hurt that much at the time but I was a little shocked by the blood gushing down my fingertips from my palm, and on to the ground.
Needless to say, I got it disinfected and dressed, and then went straight back out for more football

Today, I suffered my first ever migrain, and got sent home from college by my psychology teacher. I went home and grabbed about an hour's sleep at about 2pm, and took some painkillers, which I don't usually do. The sleep did little to help in the way of pain relief, and the headache is just starting to wear off now, as I struggle to type this with my gammy hand.
Just thought I'd share that...
