Why so serious? You wrote me an entire novella in response to one line, that's not like you, Duo... and so soon after I posted, too. Were you waiting with baited breath? I'm touched. Do I truly mean that much to you? Really, though, I'm wondering why you'd think I'd bother to set a time with the best known remaining script kiddie and server crasher in the community when, from what I'm told, he can't even see the video game half the time in pugs anymore. I do have better things to do with my weekends more often than not, you know. You act so upset... does it hurt that half the good lames on Hoth are no longer possible in the pubs? That the remaining half, if you used them, Guard would pretty immediately know who it was? Does that spoil what you like to do with your free time so much that for lack of those options you do your best, as meagre as that may be, to troll me instead? And since you can't win a battle of wits with an intelligent adult to save your life, even a lazy one, your only remaining option is to try to make it about winning the video game, isn't it? You know, it's pretty easy to understand how kids who've never been involved in any significant game design wouldn't know this, but actually, being able to play a game well has virtually nothing to do with being able to make a good game in the first place. Feel free to ask any major game designer... including the ones at Raven. Kind of explains why all those good players almost never produce any actual improvements to the game beyond strategies and tricks that help them win the game someone else made, hm? Also, you'll find making the video game actually pays pretty well - being good at the video game not so much except in certain cases which are far more the exception than the rule. So, why don't you go on a panty raid instead like a good college boy - or do you prefer briefs? Say, speaking of that, you're a freshman, aren't you. I know a freshman when I see one, aaaand... yeah. Most of them spend thier time at parties instead of trolling old games, though. What's wrong, don't you get invited to parties? But now you're about out of usable toys because you aren't clever enough to make your own and new DOS attack toys for a 6 year old game just don't come out every day anymore, do they? And of the ones not fixed, everyone knows exactly who it is when you yews them? And so, when you're sitting alone in the dorm with nothing to do... that leaves... this. Am I right, friend? Well. I have some advice for you. From someone who's known a lot of freshman in his time. Grow up a little, learn to deal with people face to face in ways that might actually leave them wanting you around, and maybe you'll actually get some positive socialization that doesn't involve trolling. You'll feel a whole lot better, trust me on that. And you won't leave yourself wide open for posts... like... this one... either. Well, granted, you probably won't post as many amusing trolls as you do if you end up with better things to do with your time, but maybe you'll come to have some other value instead. It's a chance I'm willing to take. Some may wonder why I even bother to feed the troll. Actually, the answer is quite simple: I want to see what you'll do. Don't disappoint, son. If you're actually capable of responding like a mature adult rather than as a disgruntled hotheaded adolescent who's a bit behind the curve on growing up, then by all means, show me - it's easier to look cool on forums when you aren't looking raged.
